Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi popularized the concept of "flow," in which a person becomes completely immersed in the current task or activity.

"Fall into Flow" is an activity/game to help one potentially have this experience and offers a way to distract from distractions!

Getting Started:

  1. -Set a number greater than 0 + select a stage (S1, S2, S3, etc.).
  2. -Control the white circle (or black circle "opal") to dissolve red blocks.
  3. -Dissolve the number of blocks before that number falls off the screen.
  4. -Go again!
  5. -Know your goal (0 missed, only missed 100, a 900 Flow Set and x many missed on Stage x, completing a really high Flow Set number on any stage,  or just play)!
  6. -Just go for it🤝
  7. -Change the scene with Background Flow, on the About screen, to set your custom image (with GIF support). Hi-res images work best.
  8. -Shop for new backgrounds on Fall into Flow's Ko-fi Shop!

There's no music or sound FX, so you can create your own space!

Playing Styles:

  1. Straight up: pick a stage and increase your number by 100 (or any number) each time
  2. Straight out: complete all stages by a number (ex. 100). Repeat, but with a higher number (ex. 101, 200, 423, etc.)
  3. Freestyle: just go! Higher numbers the first few rounds may feel slow and low numbers may feel too easy
  4. Juice up (game code): select a stage and tap "E." Repeat a few times + play for more red blocks

The Blocks:

  1. -Red blocks: They fall from the top of the screen. Every red block dissolved increases their speed.
  2. -White block (and black block): Used to slow-up the game. They appear in random locations and ricochet throughout the game. Use the white circle (or black circle "opal") to catch it.
  3. -Strobing Rectangles (white and red): The sole purpose is to speed things up. Slowly strobing between red and white and there to trick the eye.
  4. -Strobing Golden (red and yellow): When red blocks collide with Strobing Golden, red blocks slow down. They spawn in random locations and vanish without a trace.
  5. -Strobing Blaxy (blue, black and gray): Spawning from the bottom in a race to the top, moving through red blocks, increasing their speed. Nothing can stop them, unless they spawn again.
  6. -Phantom Blaxy (black and gray): A faster Strobing Blaxy 😤.
  7. -Gray Blocks: They spawn in random locations, in 5's and disappear after a few moments. Blocks bounce off of the grays.
  8. -Blackv and Blackh Blocks: They are like gray blocks, but bigger and blend in the scene, in 2's on S6.
  9. -BigBlaxy (black and red) and BigupBlaxy (white and red): Slow moving, but cause big moves! They'll traverse up and down.
  10. -BigBlock: It's like BigBlaxy, but the opposite. Spawns under certain conditions on S7 and (more frequently on) S8..

Events:

Blocks appear and vanish when certain conditions are met. Not all blocks are on all stages; each stage is unique.

-A Slow Down: Red blocks will slow down on certain stages under certain conditions.

HEPR controls:

-H: Hide stats

-E: End the current set

-P: Pause/un-pause the game, kinda 👺

-R: Refresh the game to the initial state
